Unplanned trip is way better than planned one, maybe you won’t agree.. But for me, those quick getaway trips are more fun and remarkable.
I’m so happy that we managed a really quick preparation and an exciting itinerary. It’s group dynamics I guess, and I’m so lucky I got an awesome kaladkarin friends. Haha.

Benisa Beach Resort

Waves. Good music. Bonfire. Crazy conversations. super THANK YOU!!
Thank you for always comforting me whenever I’m sad. Thank you for taking care of me whenever I’m sick. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for always being there to listen. Thank you for the never-ending encouragement and support whenever there is something I want to do or accomplish. Thank you for loving me so much. Thank you for EVERYTHING. I may not be the best daughter and this may sound cliché but I want you to know that I’m always doing my best to make you proud.

Finally, I was able to find time to blog about our trip two weeks ago. Ilocos has always been included in my dream destinations list. I’ve been hearing lovely stories from friends on how beautiful Ilocos Region is, and true enough it is!

Day 1
Burgos Lighthouse

Kapurpuran Rock Formation. It’s a long walk just to get there, but the long walk really paid off after seeing the White Rock.

Bangui Windmills, my favorite!!!!!

Patapat Viaduct

Bantay Abot Cave

Blue Lagoon

It was getting dark after this, so we headed back to the hotel, grabbed a quick dinner and had some frozen margarita and long island ice tea at Emohruo Beach Restobar.
Day 2
A lovely and sunny morning at Saud Beach.

Paoay Church

After lunch, we went on our way to our next destination, VIGAN!
Baluarte. Chavit Singson’s free and open to public zoo.

We roamed around to take pictures of every animal.

Yellow submarine. Yayyy!

We also took the opportunity to do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs and picture taking at Calle Crisologo.

It was a hassle-free trip, thanks to Richard and Adriane for being very accommodating. :)

I really can’t decide which weekend I like most so far for this year, because they’ve all been so amazing and so memorable in such wonderful ways. Thank you, sweety.
Finally, we’re able to spend time together again after so many years! My friend Mei and i planned it all along and we just invited the three of them few days before the trip (dahil kapag biglaang lakad, natutuloy).

Interior’s very nice and neat.

And what I love most about it is actually how it looks classic. <3

Wooot! Boyfi’s very happy and in love with franky! He finally got his dream car. He will no longer wonder or fantasize about owning a beetle. :)

“What defines a best friend? What are the requirements to be a good best friend? How many hours a week does it entail? Stupid questions that have no answers. A best friend is not defined by how many times they talk on the phone, or how many hours they hang out together. It is not defined by how many sleepovers they gossip at, or how many inside jokes they have. There are no requirements or laws that state a good best friend must hang out with them every weekend, or tell each other every little detail. A best friend is a matter of opinion. It is the person who has been there for you through everything, not just through the fun things, or the little things. It is the person that you call when you are at your absolute worst, it is the person who saves you when you didn’t even notice that you needed saving, mostly it is the person who accepts you for who you are, and the person that you are becoming.”
Last Saturday, I decided to cook something for boyfi since we don’t have any scheduled lakad/gala.
Galunggong has always been one of his favorites, so that’s what i’ve prepared together with sautéed tomatoes and eggs.
Fried gg.

A tasty and easy to cook side dish for fried fish.

Surprise!!!!

EATING TIME! (no photo because we’re kinda busy. Nom nom nom)
When my bestfriend was in Wisconsin, she went shopping and asked me if i want a mascara, i told her “ayaw, blush on nalang :)” because i don’t know much about make up and i do not consider myself as a girly girl. I just put blush on + lip gloss before going to work.. and that’s it!
So, tadaaaaah! Here’s my Victoria’s secret blush on..
and forever 21 lip gloss.
I really appreciate how she’s into buying the things that i asked for. Do you think i’m spoiled? :p
